This message comes from a scotty script which opens a SNMP trap sink.
The straps daemon, which is used to de-multiplex SNMP traps to all
interested applications, tries to open a socket which listens for SNMP
traps that are multicasted. Only few people really need this feature
(and some systems have problems if more than one process listens for a
multicast SNMP trap). You can either ignore this message or configure
the package with --disable-multicast and recompile everything.

I guess I should change the configure script so that multicasts are
disabled by default.
