tkined with an X-Server

Hi,

I've got the following problem: I run tkined on a unix machine, redirecting
the display to an NT machine with an X-server. The X-server logs via telnet
into the unix machine and starts tkined with the following command: "nohup
/usr/local/bin/tkined1.4.4 -display $DISPLAY &"
After that the X-server cuts the telnet connection while tkined runs nearly
fine. The problem is, that the tools menu is started as a separate script
(exec scotty2.1.4 "$0" "$@") which ends itself if there is no tty. So, if I
start tkined there is a tools menu, which - plopp - disppears after 2-5
seconds. Looks nice. The same happens to SNMP-Monitor etc.

Anyway if I log in to that unix machine via telnet manually and start
tkined with "/usr/local/bin/tkined1.4.4 -display xx.xx.xx.xx:0 &" the tools
menu and all other menus stay there until I end the telnet connection.

Does anybody know how to exec a script with nohup, if the parent shell is a
"nohup shell", without changing the exec command in the *.tcl scripts? Any
help appreciated.

Regards - Radi.
