distributed tkined

Hello,

(my apologies for the keyed vi file earlier, I tend to get a bit
fat-fingered sometimes :)

I'm interested in setting up a distributed monitoring environment
w/ tkined.

What I mean by this, is that I would run tkined w/ a map.tki file,
and turn on "Remote tkined":"Listen" so that anyone could
connect.

Then, at each of my 'user/client' stations, I'd set them up to
"Remote tkined":"Connect".

* The problem is, I only seem to be able to get one functional
tkined client. Also, the tkined server seems to have problems
redrawing the screen. :( I can run 1 server, and if I try to
start two clients running off of it, one works, one doesn't :(

So, what do you all recommend? Is what I want to do reasonable?
Are there any bugs I should be aware of? Do you have any general
comments?

The application here is a NOC. We've 3-9 people, who, at any
given time, may want to access the tkined map/monitoring system
we've developed. I'd prefer to run that centrally and provide
views, rather than have each person run their own application.

The server is a sparc 10/512, w/ 92 megs of ram. The clients are
sparc 4s or 5s, w/ at least 32m and 80mhz cpus.

Any and all comments appreciated!
