I have a problem with the SNMP-set command and I don't know if if's my
fault or something with scotty or the SNMP-agent.
The following line
$s set { {sysContact.0 "support@nm.informatik.uni-muenchen.de"} }
(with $s being the handle of a previously opened session) produces the
message
noSuchName 1 {1.3.6.1.2.1.1.4.0 {OCTET STRING}
support@nm.informatik.uni-muenchen.de}
while executing
"$s set { {sysContact.0 "support@nm.informatik.uni-muenchen.de"}
}"
(file "./snmp_set" line 18)
An SNMP-get on 'sysContact.0' works fine without error messages, so I
don't understand why I get an 'noSuchName' error with the set-command ?
thanks for your help ...
Karsten
