sed -e 's/^exec scotty.*$$/exec scotty$(TNM_VERSION) "$$0" "$$@"/'\
or one much like it as there are several in the make file.
I have tried to run each make install directive and here are the results that
I got:
make install-bin: Works without a problem
make tnm-install: Starts copying the library files to tnm/library then
then dies with the above error. Lets try each individual
directive in the tnm-install.
make tnm-install-bin: No need to run as this is a repeat what was done in
make install-bin
make tnm-install-library: This dies from the same error.
make tnm-install-mibs: Copies files to tnm/mibs but then dies with the
same error as above.
make tnm-install-agents: Worked with no problem.
make tnm-install-examples: Worked with no problem.
make tki-install-bin: No need to run as this is a repeat what was done in
make install-bin
make tki-install-library: Worked with no problem.
make tki-install-bitmaps: Worked with no problem.
make tki-install-apps: Copies files into /tkined/apps/ but then dies with
with the same error.
I think I have pretty much installed scotty "manually" but can some one let
me know if this is a problem that I need to worry about. If it is something
that I need to worry about can I take out the exec command in the makefile
and have it run?
BTW this in on a Sparc4 running SunOS 4.1.4
Thanks,
Kent
