Does anyone have any suggestions, pointers and or warnings before I
get started? I am intending to use the OSIMIS version 3.0 that is on
bells.cs.ucl.ac.uk. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
I this still the most current version?
Well, the CMIP interface included in scotty has one major problem: It
depends on OSIMIS and this again depends on ISODE. Never OSIMIS
versions are only available if you sign a license (its free for
universities). The installation of the public ISODE and OSIMIS
versions is IMHO a hard trip and the resulting binaries are quite
large. (Well, you want to use CMIP so you are probably prepared :-)
