Hello,

About two weeks ago I mailed you regarding a memory leak I had uncovered in Scotty. I believe the leak resides in the way scotty maintains the MIB_Node tree (BuildSubTree). It manifests itself as...

Report (mlk): 1636 bytes at 0x814298 lost, malloc called from:
MIB_ReadFrozenFile [line 365, /usr/local/smt/BUILD_SRC/scotty-2.0.2/snmp/mibFrozen.c, pc=0x75bd8]
MIB_Parse [line 415, /usr/local/smt/BUILD_SRC/scotty-2.0.2/snmp/mibParser.c, pc=0x6e424]
LoadFile [line 309, /usr/local/smt/BUILD_SRC/scotty-2.0.2/snmp/mibTcl.c, pc=0x2e61c]
MibCmd [line 171, /usr/local/smt/BUILD_SRC/scotty-2.0.2/snmp/mibTcl.c, pc=0x2db64]

Is there a fix? I noticed that many ckfree's are commented out at this point in the code.

Is there a new release of scotty due soon?

Regards
