how right you are, as matter of fact i've stolen quite a bit of your
code and munged it to fit into what i'm doing. anyway, i've got a not
so small utility that is geared toward being a front-end to tools that
work with the inter-domain topology of the internet. this module
makes use of the internet routing registery (irr), etc... it can be
snarfed from

ftp://ftp.isi.edu/eddy/irrv-0.2.tar.gz

if anyone finds anything interesting please get ahold of me. this is
really geared toward isp's. soon now, i'll send an update with a web
page that will actaully describe what this thing is doing.
