The other mailing lists I am aware of are:

snmp (which if info.snmp is a true reflection) is pretty inactive.
snmpv2 (primarilly for discussing snmp v2 standard, but lots of knowleable
people - snmpv2-request@tis.com is request address).

also:

comp.protocols.snmp and comp.dcom.net-management - although these are mostly
about management rather than agent construction.

The impression I get is that there are comparatively few people building agents
and most use kits of one form or another. Read-only/monitoring agents are
pretty easy to create. Anyhow scotty is the best thing I have found to build
agents that do things.
