I'm experiencing something weird while using tkined-1.3.4. I have a dozen
or so hosts/routers defined in my tkined file. Initially all of them had
a reachability attribute, but due to line problems, I removed one since it
was continuesly blinking. After saving the file, the entry for that
router in the config file looks like this:
set node17 [ ined -noupdate create NODE ]
ined -noupdate move $node17 467.00 140.00
ined -noupdate icon $node17 cisco.xbm
ined -noupdate font $node17 fixed
ined -noupdate color $node17 red
ined -noupdate name $node17 Router9
ined -noupdate label $node17 name
All other entries also have an attribute line like:
ined -noupdate attribute $node3 {round trip time} {rtt 2 ms}
However, when I restart tkined (I did save the file in between), yet again a
reachability attribute is attached to that one router. After some more
checking in the config file, I noticed the following entry:
ined send $interpreter1 restart {Check Reachability} 60 job9 $node17
Shouldn't that entry have been removed when I removed the reachability
attribute?
Please Cc: responses to me since I'm not subscribed..
Thanks,
Ed
