Before discovering Scotty we were using our own SNMP tool for
automated testing of agents, we were in the process of 'improving'
this software, however our entire "wish list" of features were fully
met by "Scotty"!

It provides an EXCELLENT language for developing libraries of
high level functions, which mean that the final test scripts can be
written to be readable! Doing the same in SH scripts, using an snmp
program is certainly NOT readable! I know I've done it *8-)

One thing that we will be VERY interested in is support for
the new multi-platform versions of TCL/TK when they are finished; Unix
machines are great, but unfortunatly cannot be isolated from the
lifeblood of their network, hence PC's are more useful for performance
and functional testing of agents.

Thankyou for your effort and work
