I would recommend to use scotty-2.0.2 instead of older version (but
perhaps the version number above is just a typo). Scotty runs fine on
a number of Linux boxes. As far as I know uses slackware the tcl/tk
libraries made by David Engel. These should work fine and ELF is no
problem as long as you do not mix ELF and AOUT libraries.

These comments don't help very much but this is all I can do for you
since you did not say what actually goes wrong. ;-)
