Hi!

I have moved the second patch for scotty-2.0 on our FTP archive:

ftp://ftp.ibr.cs.tu-bs.de/pub/local/tkined/scotty-2.0.1-2.0.2.diff.gz

A complete tar file is also available:

ftp://ftp.ibr.cs.tu-bs.de/pub/local/tkined/scotty-2.0.2.tar.gz

Below is a list of changes that have been made since 2.0.1:

o New SNMP set processing code with check bindings and automatic undos.

o I added some more RFC MIBs (which makes the diff quite large).

o The sunrpc command should now work even on Ultrix machines. (I got
scotty compiled on ULTRIX V4.4 after the usual header fix.)

o Multicast SNMP traps. (Experimental - you can ignore this for now.)

o A new -version configure option for SNMP sessions. This allows to create
community based SNMPv2 sessions: snmp session -version SNMPv2C.

o Various minor bug fixes in the SNMP Tcl interface.

o All *.idy files are now written to a machine dependent directory. This
allows to share /usr/local/lib/scotty between multiple architectures.
Note, this will only work if you are running Tcl7.5 or later.

o There is experimental dynamic loading support if you are running Tcl7.5.
(Type `make dynamic' to build a dynamically loadable module.)

o SCOTTY_STRAPS and SCOTTY_NTPING environment variables can be used to
overwrite compiled in paths.

o Jobs created by the job command which generate Tcl errors are now
removed automatically. This behavior is consistent with the fileevent
command and avoids error loops.

o Minor fixes in the tkined scripts (including a simple trap sink in the
snmp_monitor script).

Have fun,
Juergen
