There is no simple way to remove an item from the job list yet.

No idea. You should only edit one these files. Tkined will first read
the /usr/local/lib/tkined.defaults file and afterwards your
~/.tkined/tkined.defaults file. If you have a tkined.defaults file in
your current directory, this file is also read. To get the icons
loaded correctly, you need to have contiguous numbers and the *.xbm
files must either have an absolute path name or they must reside in
either /usr/local/lib/tkined/bitmaps/ or in ~/.tkined/. Hope this
helps a bit further.

jaques> 3. Can the reachability time be adjusted easily?

Do you mean the time interval between two reachability checks? Just
use "IP-Monitor" -> "Modify Monitor Job" and select the reachability
job you want to change.
