I am wondering if the IP address passed to the trap handler is from UDP
packet header or from the SNMP trap packet. I am having a problem to
determine where the trap is from. The agent development certainly has
a hard time to find the local IP address. But I was told that this only
affects the SNMP packet. The UDP packet header should still have the
right IP address. Since the trap handler is passed with the wrong IP
address, does this mean that the IP address is obtained from the SNMP
trap packet? I would appreciate any help on this matter.
