Is there a way to save the results from e.g. SNMP-MONITOR - Interface
load so i can make long term statistics ?

Well, for what it's worth...

We are still working on a general framework to gather long term
statistics. We started on this in May, had a rough prototype in
August, and redesigned the whole lot in September...

Other, more urgent business prevents us from finishing it in the short
run, but we are still very determined to finish it anyway.

The package will consist of
- a configuration builder (that expands a general, concise, easily
readable configuration into something that can easily be parsed by
other scripts) (written in Perl);
- a data collector process (written in Scotty);
- a data sorter that takes the raw data stream from the collector and
pushes it into the database tables;
- aggregation processes, producing maxima, minima, totals and averages
as specified in the configuration file. E.g. one could have very detailed
information for the last 5 hours (per minute samples of statistics),
up to much more general information ranging over the last 5 years
- a visualisation tool (probably a BLT script).

Our aim is to be able to collect and process 50 000 samples per minute
(with possibly several cooperating collector processes, and on dedicated
hardware).

Patrick.
