here is my third and last question this time, about building
an SNMP proxy agent based on scotty 1.99.6:
For efficiency in processing GetRequests and GetNextRequests,
and for consistency checking in processing SetRequests involving the
RowStatus Textual Convention I find it neccessary to be able to
recognize a set of calls of commands hooked by "snmp bind" as being
triggered by the same PDU. Ideally, some kind of PDU identification
could be expanded with the '%' convention, just as the %i, %i, and %v
are for now. But maybe I just need to check some global variable in
the existing implementation?
