wires and ports

Hello,

Sorry if this message is not supposed to appear here.

I saw a view of tkinet presenting the ethernet layout of a floor in a building.
My question: Does tkined have a support for more detailed wirring and cabling issues like for ex. Seeing on which port a computer is installed on a hub or which port of a router is connected to which other router?. (Providing some nomenclature for cabling maybe).

The background is that if you run in performance problems (or other problems) in large subnetted LAN's and maybe WAN (client application connecting to a remote database for ex.), I would like to see the whole way from client to server to be able to get more detailed info on the segments that are used to do the link and to find out about boottlenecks or defects.

Another big issue is planning moves of people or departments...

Could you reply to me directly as I am not on the alias.

Thank you verymuch

Marc
