I thought of some other features that would be nice:
common domain name for ip layout
It would be nice if you could enter a common domain name
in the IP-layout tool. All names that had no trailing
dot could be assumed to be in this domain. When the
shortest-unique name option is selected it should
automatically clip off any names with this domain
name. This is an easy change.. I may end up doing it
myself.
add attribute to group of entities
It would be nice to be able to group together a large number
of items and select "Add attribute" and have the attribute
added to all of these items. For example I would select
all the machines and enter "Machine Type:" as the attribute.
Next I would select all the routers and enter "Router" or
maybe "Cisco" as the attribute value.
