This won't work. Both, tkined and scotty need some work to be used
with tk4.0 and tcl7.4.
But since I am now able to use the tk4.0 event loop with scotty (which
requires to replace the addinput/removeinput with the new fileevent
command), I decided to go ahead and make all incompatible changes that
were on my TODO list and to push the major version number of the next
public scotty release to 2.
For all those of you who can't wait until I am happy with my changes
for scotty-2.0.0, I have made a development version available:
ftp://ftp.ibr.cs.tu-bs.de/pub/local/tkined/devel/scotty-1.99.1.tar.gz.
Note, it has only been tested on SunOS 4.1.3 and Linux, so there might
be problems on other machines. Please report all sorts of bugs and
comments, especially if you have good ideas how to improve the Tcl
interface and that requires incompatible changes. Read the ChangeLog
files for a list of things that are already done. The man page should
be mostly up to date.
